What a shared card shows

Share to Social is coming at launch. Here is what a card reveals, so you can share with your eyes open.

Only what you choose

A card is only ever created when you press Share. Before anything leaves the app you see the preview, and the preview is exactly what the card will show. The notice next to it lists what the card reveals.

What can go on a card

Expressive things only: a quote, a goal, an idol, a dream, a bucket-list item, a gratitude entry or a monthly recap. Cards never draw on Health, Finance, Family, Religion, Scripture or Within Drive.

Your name stays off the card unless you turn Show my name on, and then it is your first name only.

It is public

• Every card has its own page at linkedwithin.com/s/… Anyone with the link can open it, and a link can be passed on.
• The platforms you share to may keep a copy.
• Every card carries the LinkedWithin mark. On platforms that accept text, the card's link goes with it.

Photos

If you add a photo you uploaded, you confirm you have the right to share it before the card is made.

Change your mind

You can see every card you have shared, and remove any of them, in SettingsData privacyYour shared cards. Removing a card takes its page down at once. See Remove a card you shared for what removal can and cannot do.
