Important to know
- Deleting a memory takes effect immediately and cannot be undone.
- Nothing from a conversation about a crisis is ever remembered.
- Memories are used only in your own conversations, never for anything else.
After a conversation, AI Within notes a small set of durable facts, such as a goal, a preference or a family member's name, so it can be useful next time. Nothing from a conversation about a crisis is ever remembered, and memories are used only in your own conversations.
See what it remembers
- Open SettingsAI Preferences.
- Under Privacy & Features, choose What AI Within remembers about you.
- Every remembered fact is listed, newest first, with the date it was kept.
In the app: ProfileAI PreferencesWhat AI Within remembers about you.
Delete one memory
Press the bin icon next to the fact. It is gone straight away and AI Within no longer knows it. This cannot be undone.
Delete everything
- Press Delete all.
- Confirm Delete all when asked.
Your conversations stay. AI Within simply starts fresh from the next one.
Good to know
- If you see "Couldn't load your memories", that is a loading problem, not proof there are none. Press Try again.
- Memory and conversation history are separate. Deleting a conversation does not delete the facts kept from it, and deleting a memory does not delete the conversation.
- Closing your account deletes your conversations and memories together.
