Storage and download allowances

Important to know

  • Free 1 GB · Grow 10 GB · Thrive 40 GB. Each plan's monthly download allowance equals its storage.
  • Allowances reset on the first day of every calendar month (UTC). Unused allowance doesn't carry over.
  • Reaching a limit never adds a charge to your bill. We never bill you for going over.

How much you can store

Plan Storage Downloads a month
Free 1 GB 1 GB
Grow 10 GB 10 GB
Thrive 40 GB 40 GB

Drive Keeper, the storage-only option on the website, keeps the storage of the plan it replaces: 10 GB for Keeper Grow, 40 GB for Keeper Thrive.

The download allowance

Each month you can download as much as your plan lets you store: enough to retrieve your entire Drive. It is set by your plan, not by how much you have stored. Opening a file in the viewer counts the part actually shown; uploading, browsing folders and renaming never count. If you ever reach the allowance, LinkedWithin tells you and asks you to wait for the reset.

When allowances reset

All allowances reset on the first day of each calendar month, measured in UTC. That is the same day for everyone, not your billing date. Unused allowance does not carry over.

You are never billed for going over

Allowances are limits, not charges: reaching one never adds anything to your bill. The only way to get more storage is to choose a bigger plan, and that is always your decision.

See where you stand

  1. Open SettingsBilling on the website: this month's Drive downloads are shown next to your AI messages and voice minutes.
  2. Open Within Drive: the storage bar at the bottom shows how full you are, and turns amber as you get close to the limit.

An upload that would take you over your storage limit is declined before it starts.

Largest single file

Each plan also caps the size of one file: 100 MB on Free, 1 GB on Grow and 2 GB on Thrive. Drive Keeper matches the plan it keeps. A file that is too big is declined before it uploads.

Over your limit after a downgrade?

Nothing is deleted straight away. See Your Drive storage after a downgrade for the timeline, and Drive Keeper to keep the storage without AI Within.
