Important to know

The reset code is valid for 15 minutes and works once. Ask for a new one if it has expired.
For your safety we send at most a few codes an hour. If you see 'Too many attempts', wait a while and try again.
Accounts created with Google or Apple have no password. Sign in with the same provider, or use this page to set one.

Forgotten your password, or never set one? Resetting it takes a couple of minutes and only needs access to your email.

On the sign-in screen, choose Forgot password.

Enter the email address on your account and choose Send OTP code.
Check your inbox for an email called Reset your password. It holds a 6-digit code, valid for 15 minutes.
Enter the code, then choose a new password and confirm it.
Sign in with your new password.

We always say the code has been sent, whether or not an account exists for that address, so nobody can use this page to check who has an account. If nothing arrives, check your spam folder, confirm the address is the one you signed up with, and choose Resend for a fresh code.

If you are signed in and want a new password

Website: open SettingsAccountSecurity, enter your current password, then your new one, and choose Save new password.
App: open ProfilePassword, enter your current password and your new one, and choose Save Password.

Your new password is needed the next time you sign in on any device.

Google and Apple accounts

If you created your account with Continue with Google or Continue with Apple, there is no password to reset: sign in with the same provider. The reset steps above also let you add a password to that account, which you need to sign in on the website.

Keeping your account safe

Use a strong password you do not use anywhere else. We store passwords only as a one-way hash, so nobody at LinkedWithin can read yours. If you think someone else has been in your account, change your password now and email legal@linkedwithin.com.
